The Chicago Pneumatic line of portable compressors offer six models that range from 88 to 750 cfm of compressed free air delivery. The range includes the CPS 90, CPS 185-DD, CPS 185-PD, CPS 185 PDU, CPS 375 and the CPS 750. All are single-axle trailer-mounted compressors designed to be compact and lightweight. They are housed in sound-attenuated, galvanneal steel, powder coat finished cabinets, and the control panels are designed for ease of use. The 88 cfm CPS 90 portable compressor features working pressures from 58 to 125 psi, an 8.5-gal. (32 L) fuel tank, and is powered by a three-cylinder, 24.4 hp (18 kW), Kubota Tier III engine. The CPS 185-DD portable compressor provides 185 cfm with adjustable working pressures from 58 to 125 psi and a 21-gal. (79 L) fuel tank. It is powered by a 48 hp (35.7 kW) three-cylinder Deutz Interim Tier IV engine and designed for 500-hour service intervals. The CPS 185 DD features a fully galvanneal steel, powder coat finished enclosure with removable side panels for maintenance. The curb side control panel is easy to operate and the control circuit offers protective shutdowns for high engine temperature, low engine oil pressure, or high compressor temperature. The CPS 185-PD portable and utility skid mounted compressors also feature 185 cfm and easily adjustable 58 to 125 psi working pressures. The compressor has a 25-gal. (94 L) fuel tank and is powered by a four-cylinder 49 hp (36 kW) Perkins Interim Tier IV engine. The compressor control panel and discharge valves are located in the rear of the compressor. The control system offers protective shutdowns for high engine temperature, low engine oil pressure, high compressor temperature and low fuel level. The CPS 185-PD features a corrosion-resistant, galvanneal steel canopy, recessed towing lights, and a rear bumper. With 375 cfm and working pressure that is adjusted from 58 to 125 psi, the CPS 375 portable compressor features a mechanically-controlled, four-cylinder, 111 hp (82.7 kW) Perkins Tier III engine protected by a galvaneal sheet metal enclosure with full-length lockable doors. The compressor has 500-hour service intervals, a dual stage water separator with a low fuel shutdown switch. The CPS-375 is equipped with a 38-gal. (144 L) fuel tank, a large tool-storage box, and an A-frame tow bar. The largest portable compressor offered by Chicago Pneumatic is the CPS 750, with a full 750 cfm and easily adjusted working pressures from 58 to 125 psi. It is powered by a 200 hp (149 kW) six-cylinder Perkins Tier III engine designed for optimum compressor efficiency. The CPS 750 features three-stage fuel filters with water separator, automatic shutdowns for engine and compressor, and centralized fluid drains for compressor oil, engine oil and engine coolant. Designed for 500 hour maintenance intervals, the CPS 750 has a galvaneal sheet-metal enclosure and an A-frame drawbar with adjustable pintle eye and a retractable swivel wheel. The overall length of the CPS 750 is 203 by 78-in. high by 78-in. (515.6 by 198 by 198 cm) wide. Overall weight is 6,450 lbs. (2,925 kg) wet.
